In Nederland, Colorado, Thrive Together sits inside the landscape to reconnect with the botanical and historical roots of the old mining town. Working with Cote Design for Excellence, this project addresses all ten Cote strategies. The program consists of housing units and a recreation center which embed themselves in the hillside.
Stretcher is a transit hub high rise building that sits in the heart of Atlanta. Working with the life blood of the city, being the transportation and people, this building works to connect people that work, live, and play. The transit hub connects people to the Marta, Light rail, Belt line, busses, and ride share.
Reef is an education center informing the public in Egypt, near the Red Sea, about the large coral reef that residesin this sea. The design works with many passive architecture techniques to deal with the desert climatetype. The circulation and form of the building is informed by the idea of a coral reef.
