Thrive Together

In Nederland, Colorado, Thrive Together sits inside the landscape to reconnect with the botanical and historical roots of the old mining town. Working with Cote Design for Excellence, this project addresses all ten Cote strategies. Design for Water, Ecosystems, Well-Being, and Change being addressed by the Bioswale of native plants. Design for Economy, Energy, and Resources coming from the modular unit of the housing, the solar farms, and capturing the sunlight. Design for Community coming from the parks and the recreation center as gathering spaces. Design for Discovery and Integration as the integration of the buildings into the hillside.
